The profile of Cànan, the award-winning multimedia company from the Isle of Skye, continues to grow following Professor Ian Hunt’s acceptance of a non-executive directorship.

Professor Hunt has enjoyed a successful career in academia and business, with former roles as Professor of Electronics Manufacture at Napier University in Edinburgh, and as VP and Business Development Director at Nallatech Ltd.

Initially, Professor Hunt will focus on helping set up a research and development department for Cànan, and bring his business and technical expertise and experience to bear on processes and methodologies with a view to giving the R&D department a solid base to build on.
