Bilingualism Campaign

To promote Gaelic-medium Education and increase the awareness on the benefits of bilingualism. We created a slogan and a series of photographic solutions aimed at five specific areas of the targeted audience.

The campaign was then developed into various formats to accommodate different media (billboards, phone-boxes, underground banners, paper adverts, etc).

The final product is already making an impact and has been very well received.

FilmG

The challenge presented to us was to seek out and nurture new talent for BBC ALBA and encourage people to tell their own stories in Gaelic.

Our response was FilmG - the online Gaelic short film competition and training programme, from concept to final delivery, including website, marketing, project management and awards ceremony. This project was initiated in 2008 and has been so successful that it is still running!

It has also won HMI’s Sector Leading Innovative Practice award and won Best Cultural Event in the Scottish Event Awards 2012

Website

Learngaelic.net

In this project we were asked to create a single place where Gaelic learners of every age and ability can find the tools they need to learn the language.

We designed and illustrated a website that makes learning Gaelic accessible, easy and engaging, whilst entirely revising the classic programme Speaking our Language for online use, producing a package that includes transcripts of each episode in both Gaelic and English and a set of supportive PDF exercises.
